FAQ

Aqura Dive is located on Seraya Kecil Island in Komodo, Flores. It is a 15-20 minute trip by speed boat or 45-60 minutes trip by traditional wooden boat from Kampung Ujung harbor in Labuan Bajo. Kampung Ujung harbor is approximately 7-10 minutes from the Komodo airport.

While we are located on the grounds of Sudamala Resort, Seraya, if you would like to dive with us, please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@aquradive.com. We’d be happy to discuss your needs.

Flores, like the rest of Indonesia, has a tropical climate with two seasons – dry and wet. While the temperature may point to an average of 27-28 degrees Celsius, you’ll feel the heat at approximately 35-37 degrees Celsius.

The underwater temperatures range between 26 to 29 degrees Celsius. Some divers are comfortable with 3mm suits, while others prefer 5mm suits, particularly if they are going on three dives. We offer both 3 and 5mm full body wetsuits at the centre to ensure your optimum comfort.

This depends on your provider, but roaming can get very expensive.

Labuan Bajo’s main strip – on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta – as well as some parts of the Komodo National Park (particularly those closest to the village on Komodo Island) have internet access, but coverage elsewhere, including at Sudamala Resort, Seraya, is unstable due to lack of infrastructure in remote locations.

Should you wish to buy a local number, any SIM card by Telkomsel (Kartu Halo, Simpati, Kartu As) seems to provide more coverage around the Labuan Bajo area than other providers. In order to utilize a local SIM card, please ensure your mobile phone is unlocked.

We are located on Seraya Kecil Island, which is a stunning small island with a beautiful stretch of beach and minimally explored, largely untouched underwater world. While we have discovered many breath-taking diving pockets on our own backyard, the Komodo area is, of course, still famous for its well-known dive sites located within the national park.

Seraya Kecil Island is located in the north of Labuan Bajo – 15-20 minutes trip by speed boat or 45-60 minutes trip by traditional wooden boat away from the main town. Sudamala Resort, Seraya, where Aqura Dive is, is an exclusive, tranquil, serene remote island resort. Suitable for divers, divers-to-be, and non-divers searching for an exotic getaway. The distance from Seraya Resort to the Komodo National Park is further away from Labuan Bajo, which is where most dive centres are located.
